Chaos and Faith

Amongst all of the chaos that I encounter and contribute to everyday, I believe that all is part of my purpose and God's master plan.  Over the past eight years, January has held close-minded plans for my life.  Each year has brought blessings that I haven't dreamed up at the onset of the year.
Here is a history of my life over the past eight years:
2005:  I graduated college with my BA in Special Ed: D/HH and Elementary Ed.  Steve and I got married, moved into our first house, and I started my first year teaching.  My plan was to stay in this school, with the same teachers, forever!
2006:  I moved to the new school when we split and was part of the first year staff!  I also began coaching cheerleading for a middle school team.
2007:  I decided to quit coaching and begin my MEd program for Divergent Learning.
2008:  I graduated with my MEd, we bought and renovated a new house, and started decorating a nursery.
2009:  Luke was born... almost a month early on January 3.  Over the summer, I decided to begin course work for my administration certification... just in time to find out we had baby #2 on the way!
2010:  Maggie was born and we continued with being busy and blessed!
2011:  I finished my administration certification, started applying, and accepted a job closer to home as an administrator.
2012:  We decided we had outgrown our home and began plans to sell and build a new house.  We were lucky to sell quickly... meaning that Steve, myself and the kids moved in with mom and dad for four months.  The day before Thanksgiving we moved (for hopefully the last time) and started making our new house a very lived in home.
2013:  Stay tuned!  It may be a year of simple moments or life-changing events.  Either way they will be big blessings, full of chaos and faith.

  1. Nice 8-year summary in a short post! Can't wait to see the rest.
